This page contains information about our approach to opening safely in response to COVID-19 and government policy and legal obligations.

Since the Government have announced a change to Plan B and with the background of uncertain risks involved with the Omicron variant, the trustees have reluctantly decided to cancel the following events:

  • 25 December 2021 – Xmas Pop Up Bar
  • 6 January 2022 – Bookmart and Internet Cafe
  • 8 January 2022 – Pop Up Bar

The Brushford Parish Hall AGM is booked for 18:30 Thursday 17th February at the Parish Hall. Members of the local community are welcome to attend.

We are often asked for guidance in staying safe when hiring the hall;
here are some key actions you can take and recommend to your group:

  • Stay at home if you feel unwell. Get tested and isolate if required.
  • Let fresh air into buildings.
  • Wear a face covering in crowded and enclosed spaces where you come into contact with people you do not normally meet.
  • Maintain good hygiene practices: regular hand washing with soap and water or hand sanitizing, covering coughs and sneezes.

The Trustees and committee of Brushford Parish Hall have conducted their own risk assessment and actions to mitigate the effects of COVID-19. All hiring groups are expected to take their own actions to keep themselves safe.
